240 wiper problem 200 1989

I am having a hard time with my windshield wipers.
While i was away at college my little brother replaced the motor with a correct one that i had purchased. When i got home, i noticed that hte sweep pattern of the blades is a lot smaller than it had been. before it was about a 90 degree sweep but now it has lost about a degree or two from both the top and the botom. I took a look and couldnt figure out how to adjust anything. Has anyone else had this problem? how should i fix it?
