Rough Idle and Stalling at Weird Times 700 1990

1990 740 gle 16 valve

Sometimes car will die and will bog down when gas peddle is applied. I have found that when the car decides to run rough that all I need to fix the problem is unlatch the AMM and blow in it. After I blow in the AMM the car will run fine for a couple of days. It seems that after the car sits for a while the car will run rough and not idle correctly and die.

The simple fix of blowing on the AMM has worked, but I would like to fix the problem. After blowing on the AMM the car runs great. I have taken speciall AMM cleaner and cleaned the unit before, but after a few days the problem comes back. I think it is the AMM, but do not want to spend the big $ if that is not it. Any suggestions? It already has a reconditioned AMM from Fuel Injection corp.
