oil in turbo 89 740 700

I have a 1989 740 turbo wagon.Today I replaced all my vaccum lines and opened my air filter box to take a look inside.I hade to remove one of the the hose that goes from the turbo to the innerooler. When I did this I noticed alittle oil in the hose(this is the 2" air hose to the innercooler). Is this normal. If not where can the oil be coming from?
