Trans Leak 700 1986

Hello fellas,

I've got an '86 760 with the 3-speed auto + overdrive (AW-71?).

I recently had to replace the kick-down cable, and thus, had to remove my trans pan.

I changed the filter and gasket as well, since I was taking the pan off.

When I put everything back together, I didn't know the torque specs on the pan bolts (should have looked it up...) and I drastically overtightened the bolts, and wrecked the gasket. Of course I didn't know this until a few days later when it failed and started pouring fluid all over the ground...

I changed it again, torqued correctly, though I think one of the bolts may still have gone in too tight.

The problem is I still have a leak but I can't tell where it's coming from. It's either that gasket at the 'back' (edge closest to the rear end of the car) or something is messed up with the cooler lines/fittings, as they are at the back of the trans too.

Any ideas about how common leaks are from those cooler lines? Anything else I should be looking for?
