Alternates to older RWD bricks ??

I really like the 700/900 RWD series - it's looks, how it drives, and it's simplicity (in many ways). I have seen a few other cars that are RWD that remind me of the series, and some that just might be a good alternative. Here are a couple.

Older Toyota Cressida's.
From what I have heard they are very good cars, and they seem to be about the same size as my 760. Don't know much other than that.

Many of the older Jeeps.
I know it's higher off the ground, but when I look at the lines of the Cherokees - I see Volvo 740 wagon all over it. Probably a lot worse gas mileage to go with it.

I was wondering if any other bricksters have noted this or other cars/wagons that they would care to comment on - that might be a good reliable alt to a brick.
