death by dampness 200

hello fellow brickers,

quick question. my 1990 240 runs great pretty much all the time except for when it's rained quite a bit or it's very damp. in the cold it runs great and when it's warm and dry.

when is has rained a lot or is very damp, it's a hard start followed by some chugging and minimal to no power on acceleration - pedal to the floor, for about 10 minutes. after that letting it run/crawl down a side street for about 10 it runs like normal and is fine.

i'm wondering, what areas are particularly sensitive to dampness?
is what i can do/where i should look to fix this?

thanks in advance

mr.bricker
