M46 Clutch Has Stopped Clutching! 'Update' 200

Hello,

In my previous post I was asking for input about what I thought was a clutch fork failure. Well the gods are smiling on me today since the failure was due to a clutch cable that had failed. The retaining ring at the bottom that holds the cable cracked and was not visible from above. The cable was moving but the fork was to far out to engage. A new cable will solve this problem.

The input I could use now is what brand cable should I buy. The one on the car was 2 years old and made in Italy (hopefully not by one of my relatives) and frankly was a POS. Any suggestions, or should I get a mortage and go to the dealer. Thanks for the help.

Mario
