Improved ignition systems 140-160 1971

Hello All,
Well I have had the pleasure of experiencing another upgrade on my beloved '71 145. As most of you know I have done extensive work on the motor and suspension. As a result the car is an absolute blast to drive. However, there are still issues that keep it rough around the edges (30+ yrs old I guess that what we get!). This weekend I installed the Crane HI-6 multi spark discharge box along with an older but powerful Mallory coil. I have been using the Crane XR700 electronic points conversion for years and love it. I noticed a difference immediately. The car runs so much smoother, more power, more torque at lower RPM's and I am sure my gas mileage will improve as soon as the novelty wears off. All this to say that an investment in a upgraded multi spark ignition is well worth the money. Now I need a track day so I can really have some fun!!
