940 Headliner Repair 900

The headliner on my 94 940 is detaching from the headliner board near where it meets the rear windshield. It has loosened about 1/2" along the entire rear edge exposing the disintegrating foam that it was once attached to. The rest of the headliner is in fine condition. I have read the FAQ. I'm not looking for a fancy repair and it certainly does not warrant replacement, but a minor repair that will last and hopefully prevent the situation from spreading towards the center of the roof since it is a prime target for UV rays, heat, etc... I have to think there is a better solution out there then duct taping it to the very top part of the rear windshield. Can I use small screws and some type of material cut in a strip ?? Any suggestions Bricksters? Thanks!
