R-12 to 134 AC conversion Los Angeles area

Taking a shot here. I am looking for someone in the Los Angeles area who could / would install a conversion to 134 from R-12 air conditioning.
The Volvo repair shops either want too much money or are unavailable to do the conversion.
I have a 1986 240 DL. The present AC is working with an R-12 alternative (freeze 12), but needs the annual recharge and the local Volvo place that did it last year doesn’t do freeze 12 anymore. (I might try Red Tek 12a) In any event, I would buy the full Volvo OEM conversion kit, which includes a new evaporator.
Preferably someone could come to my location in Hollywood Hills area, or I could go to someone else’s shop or area of work, and I would pay cash for the service.
The idea is to get the conversion done to 134 done soon by someone who is not a weekend amateur. Ideas and communication either to this posting thread or to the email address – FEB04(at)PATH8.com
Thanks.
PS – if anyone knows where air conditioning instructions / manual / faq exists on-line, it would be appreciated. I have not been able to find a link for the 240 yet
