fuel pressure regulator 900 1994

1994 945 Regina NA 155k. OK....

Should there be any gasoline smell right behind the FPR? Behinf, I mean towards the back of the car. I have been trying to search for reason for hunting idle. This evening, I sniffed, listed, and looked all around for something unusual, and I noticed that there was a slight odor of gasoline, and searched it down to right behind the FPR... Please tell me that there should be no scent of gasoline. This may be my solution....

Peace to you all - Keith
