Leakin Valve Cover Cap 700

I changed valve covers on the 765 this past weekend since there is not so much blowby without the turbo, and I did not need the extra breather that was installed. The one that I put on has been leaking from the oil filler cap like a sieve! I pulled it into the shop today to check the crankcase ventilation which was clean, and found that the inside edge of the valve cover around the fill hole was noticeably worn where the cap locked down, leaving the cap fairly loose.

I am not certain what the fix would be, other than putting on another valve cover, but if you are having leakage problems from around the cap, it may not be crankcase pressure issues entirely.

Regards,
