745 90' Wagon shifting problems - please help

You probably need a new rear transmission mount. Surprisingly easy to change. It's a big rubber block in a metal well. Couple small bolts, one real big bolt.

The small bushings in the shift linkage are also likely bad. These are dirt cheap. Less than a buck each, 2 needed.

While under the car, the condition of the linkage needs to be closely inspected. If it's coming apart, it will need to be replaced. New or junkyard-used.
