no start when hot

problem: Engine starts fine when cold, drive for about 10 minutes or long, shut off engine, will not re-start. Engine cranks fine but sounds like no spark condition. Swapped ignition coils and drove for several days all O.K. Then same thing repeated, swapped back to original coil, starts fine cold or warm, Was able to get "no start" condition in my driveway, put timing light on #1 plug wire and cranked engine, got three flashes on timing light and no more, enine would not start. Now or the strange part, removed all wires from coil then re-attached wires and engine starts. As things stand now when the engine won't start all I have to do is remove all three wires from coil and then re-attach, engine will start and run o.k. Wiring at the coil are good conections. Any thoughts?
