'89 Died While Driving 200 1989

I'm driving home from the video store with this girl I've been dating and all of a sudden, right as she is putting up her power window, the engine stops. I still had electricity to lights, radio, and everything. I coasted over to the side and tried to restart. The engine turned over like normal, but wouldn't start. I know that turning over with no start could be several things, a mixture that is too lean, fuel pump, spark plug problem, etc...I did check all fuses and spark plug connections. But is there something I can focus on based on the fact that it died while I was driving? Where should I start?

I had it towed to the street my mechanic is on, but I would really rather go get it running this morning without "disturbing" him.

Thanks,
Ryan
