Low idle speed 140-160

Here is a further update to my previous postings. The problem was a very low idle speed when restarting a warm engine.

In addition to a distributor swap out, new points, plugs and condensor, timing reset and removing a variable resistor from the coolant temp sensor, I have done the following:

1. Replaced the plugs and little connectors at the throttle switch and injector trigger points. Now all snug fitting with several inches of new wire

2. Cleaned up the air slide

3. Lubricated the throttle linkage. I know its just supposed to be kept clean, no lubricant, but this seems ensure that the throttle plate closes that last little bit. The plate is snug and properly positioned.

I took the car out on about a 100 mile run. All just fine. However, I see a new clutch in my future.
