Thinner body panels? 200 1993

I did it again! Everytime I turn around I've got another dent in my '93.

Did they use thinner body panels in '93? Weaker metal? Dad's '91 wagon you could just about jump on without hurting it. Today I was checking my shocks by rocking the car a bit on one corner and put a dent on the top of the fender with my hand! Unbelievable. And right after I spent three hours washing, polishing, waxing, vacuuming, etc. This was going to be THE 240, the one I keep as perfect as possible forever. Guess not huh, since everytime I look at it too hard a panel warps. Looks like I'll have to sacrifice my first-born to a body man one day to straighten up my 240.
Grr..
