No start, shifter wiggle, start-- safety neutral switch adjustment? 200 1992

Hello All:

I got a phone call from my wife this AM saying the '92 245 wouldn't start. Turns out the lights would go on, but it would not turn over. My first question was whether it was in park. She said yes-- I asked her to put it in gear and back into park. It started up fine.

This brings up the question of how to adjust the safety neutral switch. Are these a common failure item, or am I most likely looking at a simple adjustment? Any insight would be appreciated!

Thanks!
