U-Haul was reluctant to rent me the tow dolly to fetch a 245, being concerned about braking (towing a load heavier than the tow car).

They finally gave in, and I had no braking problems towing a 245 from CT back thru the Berkshires to Central NY. Uphills were no problem either, pulling with the V8 (pic above).
