Blower motor replacement- 89 245 Entire unit 200 1989

Hi All-

Such good advice was given when I had my circuit 8 short, that I'm back. Please keep in mind the following:

I am cheap
I am stubborn
I enjoy proving my wife wrong. (She has a 2003 Camry, and always wants me to take things to the shop.)
Alas, I only have moderate skills with cars.

I ordered a replacement blower motor for my 1989 245. I was confused while placing the order, as he asked if my car had A/C. I thought "Gosh, should matter, should it?" I decided it might just be a field the guy had to fill in. When I collected the part today, I was shocked to see I had much of what must be under the dash. Included is the evaporator.

So, do I just pull out the part I want from the morass in my cargo area, or do I just place the whole new unit (tested, 90-day warranty) in my faithful brick? What steps change in Art Benstein's great guide? Anything else I should do while in there? I can add a photo of what I was given, if it would help.

Let me know what thoughts are out there. Any advice is welcome and appreciated.

Best regards,

Michael
