Vent servos and vacuum problem 700 1988

Vacuum leaks are not uncommon but usually cause the system to change from normal air (as selected) to just what you have, upon acceleration. It sounds like yo have lost the vacuum source into the passenger compartment. Check hoses, check valve nipples...

Anything further, you need to say whether it is a 760 (ECC) or a 740 (MCC). Turbo engines are more likely to kill the check valve or blow a loose fitting off.
