Rich running - first things to check? 200 1985

Just brought the 85 245 home. PO replaced AMM as the old one had messed up (was running rich B4 this).

Car is running pretty rich. Runs good on the highway, bad idle and black smoke at a stop.

Do not know 200 series (yet) that well. What things would you look at to fix this - in order of probability ?
