Pertronix install question 140-160 1973

OK, we're closer.

I timed it statically and then with the gun -- something like 25 btdc because that's where it sounded happiest.

We have spark, but it seemed weak. The engine has no power and it shakes. The amp light stays on. The plug show heavy carbon fouling.

Whaddya think?

I used the spacer and the sensor unit and magnet ring seem to be on the same level. What else could be causing this?
