02 sensor question S90-V90

Thanks for the replies Guys-what I had in mind was to use a univesal O2 sensor instead of the factory one-to do that I need to cut the cable and use the clip on the one I have now. I was thinking that since the way you crimp the wires together is generally OK- I would solder the wires instead, and since that would limit how much voltage would be coming thru ,that this would lean the system some. Guess I was figuring wrong.
