Method to remove old oil from compressor for converstion to 134a. 200 1992

I've got a 1992 240 and am going to convert it to 134a. Anyone else out there ever done this before on a 1992? Can the oil be removed from the compressor without taking it off the engine? Is there a drain plug on the bottom of the compressor, or can the oil be sucked/pumped out from the fill plug on top? I've had the R12 evacuated from the system and I've ordered the Volvo conversion kit from FCPGroton. I hope to get started on it tonight! Also, any helpful hints for anything else I need to do such as flushing the lines? I'm trying to avoid removing the compressor if I don't have to.

Thanks,
