Clutch master cylinder failing 700

I have no leaks at the slave or on the firewall and change brake and clutch fluid every 50,000 mi. with synthetic.

Every so often the pedal drops to the floor but comes back on the second try, I replaced the master cyl. several years ago after thinking the fluid might be vaporizing and I had even ducted cooler air to that area. I should have known that wasn't the problem since the synthetic boils in excess of 400*. When it failed in the winter I knew it wasn't heat related.

So does anyone know that there is a check valve in the master cyl. that can bypass fluid, it seems to me there must be? If it was air it would not come right back. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this condition?

BTW another new master is on the way!
