Hot start problem-where to look?

Hello Mapleleafer and Deb...so I am not alone. My mechanic suggested adding a relay as you have, and he said he has seen more than a few 740's that have this problem. This problem is also common in older Porsche's, and they solve t with a relay also. I still would like to know what is the problem, even if I do add the relay. By the way, my dash lights stay on. Is the green wire at solenoid still green at the interlock and everywhere in between? Thanks.
