I've got a 145 that needs a good home. I'm no longer able to provide it with
a good home. I'm in riverside, california, which is midway between downtown L.A.
and Palm Springs.
The good:
recently kinda rebuilt B20 with
crazy double wound valve springs
super high compression
new mahle pistons
someone else balanced the rods and did some other race type things
new bearings
(all but the new pistons done by the motor's prior owner)
Z-Therapy rebuilt SUs
California black and yellow license plate
Clear title, currently registered.
The bad:
The car's got a bazillion miles on it, rough paint, modest holes in
floor, cracked dashboard, brakes that pull hard to one side if you
push them too hard, slightly wonky wiring. Nothing a bit of time
and love couldn't sort out.
The ugly:
The interior is rough, 14 inch alloy wheels from a volvo 244 gl, it
only has one license plate, and it runs a bit rough. It isn't a nice
color (off-white). It has an M40 that makes a bit of noise in 3rd.
It has a bit too much compression so it pings sometimes.
It's gotta go. I'd like some money for it. I'd like to find it a good
home more, though. I'd rather it go to a brickboarder than a stoner on
craigslist.
I'm going to be out of town until monday, but I'll have email and I'll
be able to meet with prospective buyers when I get back.
Email me at volvo@ae.ucr.edu if you're interested.
