A/C switch wiring question 200 1986

I'm going to hardwire my pusher fan tomorrow and the schematics I've been given off the Brickboard says I can do it one of 2 ways. First, splice it into the a/c clutch wire. Is that the little black one coming off from the back of the clutch but in front of the compressor itself. Second, splice it into the red and white a/c switch behind the dash console. I pulled the console back, but found 2 seperate red and white wires coming off of the a/c switch, one towards the front and another (that actually attached at 2 points off the same wire) towards the back of the switch. Which is easier and more secure and am I looking at the correct wires?

Thanks everyone.
