88 760 Dome Lights inop? 700

...I'm stumped...

While stuffing an oversized package in the back seat...I inadvertantly popped dome light housing out of it's mount. The lights, all three of them, no longer work in any position the switches are in?

As suggested on an earlier reply... I disconnected the light assembly and cleaned the contacts...nothing.

I checked all the fuses... No fuses blown...

I replaced all three bulbs...nothing.

I exchanged the drivers door switch from front drivers to rear drivers...nothing...

The light in the glove box works...thought maybe it is on the same circuit...dunno...

The light in the fuse tray goes on and off when opening and closing the drivers door...

Any ides as to why the dome lights are still inop?

There are two electrical connectors in the dome light housing... One is a beige colored with two pins...which connects into the dome light itself... The other connector is white...which is not conneted to anything...? Is it suppose to be connected to something?

I appreciate any other pointers... I'm at my wits-end...
