How to reset the TB and TPS in 1990 Volvo 240 200

I have a 1990 240 DL SW with M47 5 speed manual gear box. As preventive maintainence I cleaned the throttle body. Now It is written every where that I should hear a click when throttle is fully closed and opened again which I do not hear.
The procedure also tells about how to adjust TPS. This particular TPS seems to be non adjustable. I have engine designated as 82. See the comments of a fellow knowledgable poster
"82 indicates LH3.1 FI. an 88 would be LH2.4. 3.1 was only used with 5spd's around 1990. "

Am I worrying too much for it and it does not need any adjustment . Owner 's manual says that idle is electrocially controlled and fixed at 900rpm.

Regards
Gopesh
