My '82 245 seems to be sort of low in the rear even when unloaded. With two adults in the rear seat, it's looking more like a lowrider than a Volvo.

Can someone explain the relationship between the bushings, shocks, and springs?

I'm thinking about adding some of the IPD overload springs, but I'm wondering if I should also consider the shocks as well? The ones in the car now are ok as far as I can tell by the bounce test.


I parked next to an 89 model the other day and it seemed like the whole car was quite a bit taller than mine.

Any comments?
