Main Fuel Pump 700 1992

I have a 1992 GLE 745Ti with 106,000 and the main fuel pump is humming. I put a hose in the gas filler and the in tank pump humms when you turn the key on. The car runs fine and the only problem is that the main pump humms all of the time.

What should I check for now?
