IPD used to sell this stuff called TacMat for soundproofing, and it seems to work pretty well. They also had another product by the same manufacturer, which was an aerosol sound-deadener for hard to reach areas (insides of doors and such). I'm not sure if they still carry it, but it's probably worth a phone call...
