Cam seal replacment 900 1993

Hey Guys-

Thanks for all the replies to my earlier questions... this place is a wealth of knowledge...

I've got a '93 960 I-6 2.9L

I brought the head into the shop to get new valves installed. I have all the necessary parts to re-assemble the engine. One concern I have is that I do not have the 'drift tool' that the service manual says to use when installing the front and rear cam seals.

Is there a work around for this? Can I gently tap them in using a flat punch in circular motions?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks
-Jim P.
