Window channel guides-Glued in??? 120-130

I just recieved some new window channel guides (kit 500 from Swedish Treasures), and just wondering if I need to glue them in or not? Seems that the factory didn't use any glue by the way the old ones came out without any glue residue. Should I at least tack the bottoms of them so that they don't slide down with the window. Any suggestion on what type of glue to use? Boy, do they keep the window from rattling!
