Last question before I call for the rollback. 700

Hi Vince,
hope you can get this cleared up without too much further work.

I think you need to replace your crank sensor again. Never mind what the previous owner said. Maybe they did it, maybe they remembered that the shop told them they OUGHT to do it. Either way, throw $25 at it, pop it in there, and be certain that it is NOT the problem.

I've seen quite a few of these LH 2.4 cars become intermittent when starting due to crappy sensors. Make sure the area is clean when reinstalling too, you don't want any dirt trapped under the thing. It's only a single 10mm bolt. A long extension will reach it pretty easily (I have this one long snap-on wobble-drive 3/8 extension that makes it perfect) but you may find you want a universal joint. Just don't force it if it seems stuck. Use penetrating oil, use pliers to twist it, don't force it. If you break the holder bracket, the trans has to come out.

Good luck with it. Don't be too deterred by random attackers- it's rare here, and you have to consider the source. People that don't dare show their face, lobbing bombs in the dark and hiding. Anonymous internet BS.
