240 header questions 200 1986

The time has come to replace my header pipe on my 244. She is an original part and has lasted 3 or 4 full exhaust systems, and has several makeshift patches. I have a few questions before ordering parts. first can anyone tell me the number of nuts needed between the header and the exhaust manifold. I can clearly see one, but it seems like there would be at least 3 (i assume they are studs extending out of the manifold as no bolts are listed on fcpgroton). Secondly, I do not want to replace my cat, simply out of $$ concerns, but the flange between the header and the cat seems to have taken a bit of abuse over the years...is it common for this flange to be too far gone to make a seal? Has anyone ever had this issue? I know that I will need new nuts and bolts because i fully expect the ones on it now to dissolve once a wrench touches them. Lastly...the bracket that hangs down from the block to the header pipe is no longer intact. the backet itself is all there and the nut which connects it to the header is still there, but there is simply nothiing on the header to attach to. Rust seems to have eaten that part away completely. was that mounting surface originally welded to the header? and if so should I expect that the new one will have one? thanks for the input
