Installing 95 965 taillights on a 94 965? 900 1994

I've got a 94 965 with trashed taillights. I've looked at the tallights from a 95 965 and it looks similar although it has red/white lenses only. I wanted to know if anyone has compared side by side or done the swap with little or no mods. I just like the red/white combination over the red/white/yellow.
