Which of These is the Temp Sender? 200

I'm trying to trouble shoot why my temp gauge reads cold and why i have a rough idle in the early mornings. My wiring diagram says that the temperature sending unit should have a black wire, but neither of these are black. I've got one with red and one with yellow.

I know that one of them has to be the temp sender, but which one?

1986 240 DL.
