Spring Pin or Roll pin

This forum is the best on the internet. Most knowledge folks and most helpful. I own two volvos 740 almost 200k and v70 2005. Great cars and have used the foum amny times for the 740.

I have a question regarding spring pins or Roll pins which they might be known as.

Not a volvo but a Jeep which Im trying to get rid of. Hope by luck might find someone to help.

I replaced the master clutch cylinder, and where it is situated on the fire wall little clearance. Whoever thought to use a roll pin to hold in the hydralic hose should be shot. Well thats american ingenity. Anyway my problem is getting the pin in. I started it with the master outside the vehicle, however can't bang the rest of it in no clearance, almost up against the brake master have about 4 inches to spare

Any suggestions getting this bugger in. Had a hellva time getting it out, but thats another story.

Help please Madness beyond belief
