LH2.4 parts hunters-- look for SAABs

Hello All:

Just a quick note about parts interchangeability between late 80's early 90's SAABs and the Volvos with LH 2.4 injection.

Some of the 9000 series SAABs, particularly the 16V versions, have the same idle air valve as our cars-- the -516.

Early 900 series cars also have the same power stage as the Volvo, although the heat sink base is different. If you swap them, put the heat transfer mastic between the power stage and the pot metal base.

The bonus is that many of these SAABs hit the yards with 100K less km on them, so the parts tend to be in good shape.
