93 940 high Nox 900

Things to check would be bad vacuum lines, leak in intake manifold gasket, leak/s in intake snorkel tube if it is a Bosch FI car, and weak or lazy O2 sensor. Next on the list would be clogged injectors or bad/leaky injector o-rings , low pressure at the fuel rail , or blinky ecu coolant temp sensor.
Check to see if it is setting any codes, that could give a clue.
