Engine/AT combos for 122S 120-130

I believe we are going to rebuild the B18, although we have been offered a B20 and I think we will most likely except the offer; and stay with the BW35. We really don't want to run into to many modifications as this is our first time undertaking something of this nature.

My son has expressed interest in airbag suspension and would like to concentrate(or so it seems) on appearance and sound(ha ha ha) than in performance. I know the airbag comment just put a dagger through the heart of the purists here...ha ha ha...but it hasn't happened yet and I am hoping if I show him we can just lower it some then he will reconsider.
We have all the components to dress up the engine(chrome valve cover, fan blades, alternator, & air cleaners) so I think he will be happy. I also don't want to unleash him with more power than he can truely handle for his first ride.

I don't know how much power a BW35 can handle either.

I too thought about slamming a V6 in but already not really knowing what i am really doing(although I have many friends that do)made me afraid I was definitely getting in over my head.

cheers,

Karl
