steering U joint replacement

The locking nuts make getting any of the bolts off the column a real challenge even with the right tools.

Driving the u-joint back on its shaft so it can be pulled free of the rack is a major task. It took me a long time and my arms were aching for a day.

Hands down one of the filthiest jobs I have ever done on any of my cars, and that includes transmissions and rear axles. I was completely black by the end of that day.
