window regulator 700 1990

There are two types of window regulators, early and late. The 89 and up ones appear to be a lot more rugged. I believe the mounting holes are the same on the door, but the wiring is different.

On an 89 I once owned, the AC didn't work, so I ran the windows up and down A LOT. Never had the slightest bit of trouble with them. On the 88 I have now, the rear windows were sometimes sluggish. They seem to have freed up with use. Maybe regular exercise is beneficial.
