York Compressor Wiring 200

Hey All,

I just bought a 1984 245 wagon, and I'm trying to trouble shoot the a/c system because the compressor won't engage.

It has the York Compressor, with the fill ports facing the front of the car through the belt.

I jumpered the low pressure switch wire together while the car was running and there was no response from the clutch. Upon further inspection, the ground wire (blue in my case) was attached to the upper bolt on the york compressor and seemed ok, but I noticed there was another wire clip on the lower bolt of the compressor which was severed and missing.

Does anyone know the proper wiring for the york compressor. The ground looks ok, but was my clutch wire perhaps ripped out??

Pictures or diagrams are a wonderful thing for me!

Thanks in advance for your help,
-Brickish
