Engine bay paint 120-130

My '66 is a kind of robin's egg blue color but the engine bay is black. The color code for the exterior matches the ID plate, though I know the car was re-painted at some previous point. As the other Amazons that I've seen had the same color in the engine bay as the exterior I assumed that at some time in the past the engine bay in mine was painted black over it's original color. But I just noticed a '66 122s on ebay in the same color as mine which also has a black engine bay. Does anyone know, did some Amazons come with the engine bay painted black and a different exterior color? Inquiring minds would like to know!
