My Car did the exact same thing.

The problem was the lever that goes from the lock motor to the locking device fell off. Roll your window down and look at it through the little opening left by the window.

Compare what you see to the other side. Lock and unlock that door and you will see the lever I'm talking about. You can stick a screw driver down there and unlock the door. Then open the door and pull the panels off.

Once you see it you will know.
