HELP.....Another call for help on the Lower Crank Pulley - AC/PS...PLEASE

Sorry again can anybody tell me whether taking the A/C belt off will lessen the strain on my cam pulley such that I can head out? I realize that nobody can say "for sure" but I'd like to have an idea.

I'm just not sure if I take the belt off the pulley whether or not this will do the trick for me in the interim. I'm "supposed" to be leaving in the a.m.

I keep forgetting that I'm out west and that so many of you folks are on the east.

Thanks for any help!!
